KŌOPE is committed to providing a website that is usable by as many people as possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, voice input, or reduced-motion settings.

Our Standard

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the applicable website requirements of Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Accessibility Measures

• Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and status messages.
• Keyboard-visible focus styles and keyboard-operable forms and dialogs.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden decorative images.
• Responsive reflow without horizontal scrolling at common mobile widths.
• Support for reduced-motion preferences.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Automated checks support our reviews, but they do not replace testing with assistive technology and people with disabilities.
